Job Summary
The Business Development and Sales Executive(Maintenance Division) will oversee the maintenance, repair, and operational readiness of all rental generators. This role is vital for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the company’s fleet, minimizing downtime, and upholding the highest standards of safety and quality. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader with deep technical expertise in diesel generators, strong
organizational skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
1. Maintenance Operations Management
 Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure all generators are in optimal working condition.  Oversee troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of diesel generators and related equipment.

 Monitor and address recurring issues, implementing preventative maintenance measures.

2. Team Leadership & Development
 Lead, train, and supervise the maintenance team, including technicians and apprentices.

 Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities.

 Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

3. Equipment & Asset Management
 Ensure proper inventory control of spare parts, tools, and consumables.

 Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and performance metrics.

 Oversee the procurement of replacement parts and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.

4. Safety & Compliance
 Enforce adherence to company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.

 Conduct regular safety briefings and inspections to maintain a safe working environment.

 Ensure compliance with environmental and operational standards during servicing activities.

5. Operational Support
 Provide technical support for site operations, including installation and decommissioning of generators.

 Work closely with the rental division to ensure equipment readiness and customer satisfaction.

 Collaborate with the procurement team to source quality materials and equipment.

6. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
1. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for equipment uptime, service efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

2. Prepare and present regular reports on maintenance activities, challenges, and improvements to management.

3. Analyze data to identify trends and recommend strategies for optimizing fleet performance.

Qualifications
 Education: Bachelor’s degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

 Experience: At least 7 years of experience in generator maintenance, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.

 Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of diesel generator systems, including troubleshooting and diagnostics.

 Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and motivate a technical team.

 Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
